On June 10, 2026, the Trans-Caspian Forum 2026 was held in Washington, D.C., where Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United States Zavqizoda Z.A. presented the country's capabilities in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and data center development. This was reported by the Embassy of Tajikistan in the United States.
During the speech, it was noted that the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, identified digital technologies and artificial intelligence as key priorities for the country's long-term development.
Forum participants were presented with Tajikistan's achievements and initiatives in digital transformation. These included the creation of IT Park Dushanbe, the activities of the Zypl.ai startup, the Artificial Intelligence Academy, and the adoption of the region's first Artificial Intelligence Development Strategy until 2040.
Other measures being implemented in the country to promote digital transformation and the development of modern technologies were also presented.
At the end of the event, American companies were encouraged to take advantage of Tajikistan's opportunities and the country's favorable investment climate. Business representatives were invited to participate in joint investment projects in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and data center development.
