On June 9, 2026, a meeting between senior staff of the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight against Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan and Stefan Bruni, Head of the World Bank's Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability Assessment Mission in Tajikistan, took place in the conference room of the central office of the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight against Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan. During the meeting, the parties engaged in a constructive dialogue on anti-corruption issues. The mission representatives also learned about the Agency's activities, including areas of state financial control, the procedure for conducting financial audits, and their results.


During the discussion, World Bank representatives asked a number of questions regarding the agency's activities. Agency staff provided comprehensive answers.
Following the meeting, the parties noted the importance of the dialogue for strengthening mutually beneficial relations and expressed their readiness to further develop cooperation.
