The leaders of China and Russia attended a ceremony to sign cooperation documents.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a ceremony signing cooperation agreements. The two sides also signed a joint statement in Beijing on further strengthening comprehensive strategic cooperation and deepening good-neighborly and friendly relations between the two countries. Furthermore, the leaders of both countries delivered speeches at the opening ceremony of the Year of China-Russia Education Cooperation.
