Today, Sughd Regional Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda visited the village of Dalyoni-Bolo in the Devashtich district, where he inspected the progress of potato planting and land development. This was reported by the Sughd Regional Administration press service.
As noted, with the support of the Executive Authority of the State Authority of the Sughd Region, water from a mountain spring was supplied to the village via a 400-millimeter diameter pipeline with a total length of 12 kilometers to improve the irrigation of agricultural lands.

As a result of the project, over 500 hectares of communal land were provided with water. This created conditions for the effective use of previously uncultivated areas.
Currently, pipeline laying work continues, while local residents are simultaneously planting potatoes on the developed lands.

According to government information, this year's potato planting area across all communities and villages in the Devashtich district will total 7,070 hectares. Of this, 1,500 hectares are in the village of Dalyoni-Bolo.
During the visit, Rajab Akhmadzoda instructed responsible officials to promptly complete work to provide land with water, fulfill the potato planting plan, and take measures to increase agricultural production.
