Tajikistan's Ministry of Defense announced that the spring conscription plan has been fulfilled by 93.5% within one month of the campaign's start.
According to the agency's data as of May 1, several regions of the country have already fully completed the task. These include the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the city of Dushanbe, Khatlon Region, and the Rasht District.
In Sughd Region, the plan's fulfillment rate reached 87.4%. Conscription was fully completed in 11 cities and districts of the region. In cities and districts of republican subordination, the fulfillment rate was 85.7%.
The spring conscription campaign in Tajikistan began on April 1 and will last until May 31. Citizens aged 18 to 27, meaning young men born between 1999 and 2008, are being conscripted for military service.
