On April 28, 2026, in Vienna, during a meeting of the OSCE Human Dimension Committee, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to the OSCE presented the "Manifesto of Cyrus the Great." This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the presentation, it was noted that, at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and with the support of partners, UNESCO, at the 43rd session of the General Conference, recognized the "Manifesto of Cyrus the Great" as one of the first declarations of human rights in history.
It was also emphasized that the implementation of Tajikistan's global initiative, the International Year of Legal Literacy 2027, is aimed at promoting the full realization of human rights and strengthening the rule of law at the national and international levels.
