Dushanbe residents were held accountable for littering and damaging green spaces.

Employees of the Ecology and Tourism Department of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Environmental Volunteers Club, regularly conduct awareness-raising events in parks, squares, alleys, and other public spaces. Their goal is to ensure compliance with sanitary and environmental standards, according to the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During these events, several violations of environmental regulations were uncovered. Specifically, cases of litter dumping in unauthorized locations, damage to green spaces, and other violations were recorded.

For failure to comply with environmental standards and environmental protection regulations, administrative protocols were drawn up against several citizens under Article 223 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Citizens are urged to take a highly responsible approach to maintaining a clean environment and strictly adhere to established rules.
