A series of meetings on anti-corruption issues were held in Khatlon Region in April of this year, according to the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The events were organized at the agency's initiative and covered cities and districts across the region. The meetings were attended by employees from various sectors, including land, justice, education, and healthcare, as well as representatives of executive authorities from the Shamsiddin Shokhin, Mu'minabad, Farkhor, Mir Said Ali Hamadoni, Vose, and Temurmalik districts.
During the events, responsible officials delivered presentations on current anti-corruption legislation and other regulatory documents. Participants were also briefed on measures and mechanisms for preventing corruption.
It is noted that the main purpose of holding such meetings is to draw public attention to issues of combating corruption, improve the legal culture of civil servants and citizens, prevent offenses, and ensure compliance with the law and the implementation of state anti-corruption programs.
