The Tajikistan judo team returned home after a successful performance at the Asian Championships, where the athletes won five medals.
At Dushanbe International Airport, the judokas were met by representatives of the Tajikistan Judo Federation, the Committee for Youth and Sports, city authorities, as well as fans and relatives.
As an incentive, the Chairman of the Tajikistan Judo Federation, Ismoil Makhmadzoir, presented the winners with cash prizes of 100,000 somoni each.
The Asian Championships took place from April 16 to 18 in Ordos, China. 197 athletes from 19 countries participated in the competition.
Tajikistan was represented at the tournament by 13 judokas, who won five awards.




Emomali Nurali won gold medals in the 66-kilogram weight category and Mukhiddin Asadulloev won gold medals in the 73-kilogram weight category.
Silver medals were won by Obid Jebov (up to 66 kg) and Somon Makhmadbekov (up to 81 kg). The bronze medal was brought to the team by Madina Kurbonzoda, who competed
