On April 2, a roundtable discussion was held in Dushanbe by the Association of E-Commerce Participants of Tajikistan under the auspices of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the Center for International Private Entrepreneurship (CIPE). This was reported by the press service of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event brought together representatives of key government agencies, including the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Bank of Tajikistan, the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the private sector and development partners.

The initiative aims to develop coordinated solutions for the digital transformation of trade processes, increasing economic transparency, and strengthening institutional coordination.
In the context of the accelerated growth of e-commerce in Tajikistan, work continues to improve current regulatory mechanisms.
Discussion participants noted that further development requires a transition from disparate solutions to an integrated digital trade management architecture. The proposed transformation is based on principles consistent with international practice: data-driven management; automation of administrative procedures; end-to-end integration of public and private systems; and the implementation of risk-based controls.

The target model is to create a transparent, predictable and scalable digital trading environment integrated into regional and global supply chains.
The development of a unified digital e-commerce ecosystem is seen as a key factor in sustainable economic growth, increased competitiveness, and expanded participation of Tajikistan in international trade.
