Industrial production in the Matcha district of Sughd region has increased by 2.2 times. This was announced by President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on March 30 at an event dedicated to the celebration of International Navruz Day.
He noted that Navruz this year is celebrated at an important stage of creation and improvement in honor of the 35th anniversary of the country's state independence.
According to the head of state, residents of the Sughd region, including the Matcha district, have expanded the scale of improvement and construction work, expressing gratitude for independence, peace, stability, and national unity.
He emphasized that, thanks to government support, consistent implementation of economic reforms, and the conscientious work of the population, the Matchinsky District has significantly transformed over the years of independence, becoming more prosperous, and living conditions have improved significantly.
It was noted that 13 new modern educational institutions, a central hospital, manufacturing plants, and other facilities have been commissioned in the district, creating hundreds of jobs.
The district's industrial sector has also seen significant success. Over the past five years, 38 new industrial enterprises and workshops have opened, creating hundreds of new jobs and increasing industrial production by 2.2 times.
These achievements are considered a contribution of the district's entrepreneurs and residents to the celebration of the 35th anniversary of State independence.
According to the analysis, the region's agricultural sector is also developing steadily. Reforms in this sector have created conditions for providing employment to a significant portion of the rural population and improving living standards.
