In today's world, space is becoming an increasingly significant factor influencing international relations and security. The exploration and use of outer space opens up new opportunities for scientific discovery, economic development, and national defense. At the same time, space exploration is fraught with risks and challenges, including the potential for the militarization of outer space and conflicts over resources. There is a growing need for international cooperation and agreed-upon rules of conduct in space to avoid conflicts and maintain the peaceful use of outer space.
Therefore, discussions of issues of peaceful space and its development at the international level are becoming increasingly important for maintaining stability and security in the world.
In early 2026, the Space Law Laboratory opened at the Vladimir branch of the Presidential Academy.
