From February 8 to 11 of this year, the State of Kuwait hosted the 16th International Inventors Exhibition in the Middle East. Eight Tajik scientists, professors, and inventors from universities and higher education institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan participated, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan.
Representatives from the country's healthcare sector also participated in the high-level event and were awarded places of honor.
Munira Roibova, head of the Practical Skills Center at the Bokhtar Medical College and a graduate student at the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, presented a research project in pharmaceutical chemistry and the development of new medicinal compounds. She took second place and was awarded a silver medal.



Her research focuses on the biological synthesis of cobalt compounds with dibazol. The study, conducted at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, is aimed at developing new medicinal compounds and studying their biological effects.
According to experts, such scientific work could ultimately create a solid foundation for the development of the pharmaceutical industry and modern therapeutic agents.
The exhibition featured inventors and researchers from 70 countries, who presented their achievements in various fields of science and technology.
