"Following orders from Russian President Vladimir Putin, our Russian colleagues have already visited Tajikistan twice, and we have visited Russia once. The agency's director added that the agreement provides for the allocation of 10 hectares of land in the republic for the construction of an enterprise focused on the export of agricultural products to the Russian Federation.
In turn, Tajagropromexport Director Marufi Abdullo reported that the company's delegation visited Moscow for talks with representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as major agricultural sector organizations.
According to official data, in 2025, Tajik agricultural exports amounted to $79.2 million, of which more than 50%, or $39.4 million, went to Russia.
