On February 7, Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said participated in a tree-planting event along the Dusti-Kabodiyon highway during a working visit to the Dusti district. This was reported by the regional chairman's press service.
This important environmental event was organized to green and beautify the surrounding area, improve the ecological situation in the region, and enhance the aesthetic appearance of one of the district's key transport arteries. Over 1,000 juniper saplings were planted as part of the event.



During the event, it was emphasized that tree planting is a key factor in environmental protection and plays a significant role in preventing soil erosion, improving air quality, and creating a healthy living environment for the population. The regional chairman emphasized the need for proper care of planted trees, their timely watering, and protection from external influences.
Representatives of the Main Directorate for Environmental Protection of the Khatlon Region and its subordinate structures in the Dusti district, as well as local activists, participated in the greening campaign, contributing to the improvement of the environment.



It is noted that such environmental activities are carried out within the framework of state policy in the field of environmental protection and the implementation of the orders and instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and contribute to improving the environmental situation, raising the environmental awareness of the population, and the sustainable development of the region.
