On February 4 and 5, a high risk of avalanches remains on avalanche-prone sections of the Dushanbe-Chanak highway, from the 48th to the 74-80th kilometers, including the Maykhura-Zidekh sections of the Varzob district, Zimarg in the Ayni district, as well as the mountainous regions of republican subordination.
According to the press service of the Hydrometeorology Agency of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, an avalanche hazard is predicted due to possible snowfalls, increased frosts, and fluctuations in air temperature.
In this regard, drivers and citizens are politely asked to refrain from unnecessary travel. When traveling along these sections of the highway, it is recommended to strictly observe road safety regulations and pay close attention to warnings and instructions from relevant authorities.
