At the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan, Minister of Health and Social Protection Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Tajikistan, Relits Roker, and representatives of the U.S. Government's Office of Foreign Assistance. This was reported by the press service of the Tajik ministry.
Minister Jamoliddin Abdullozoda welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United States in healthcare. He noted that the support of international partners, including the US government, is particularly important for the implementation of national programs to combat infectious diseases, including tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS.


During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation and exchanged views on prospects for its further expansion. The Minister of Health and the US representatives expressed mutual interest in strengthening their partnership and jointly implementing projects aimed at improving healthcare efficiency, improving the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, and strengthening the social protection system in Tajikistan.
The meeting participants emphasized the importance of coordination between national health authorities and international partners to achieve sustainable health outcomes, improve the quality of medical services, and strengthen the country's infectious disease prevention and control system.
The parties noted that further development of cooperation will facilitate the effective exchange of experience, the introduction of modern diagnostic and treatment methods, and the implementation of joint educational and information programs for healthcare professionals and the public.
