The 2025 Youth Work Awards Ceremony was held at the Sadriddin Aini State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater in Dushanbe on January 27. The event was initiated by the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, as reported by NIAT Khovar.
Before the ceremony, a short film was shown to those present about the achievements of the Committee for Youth and Sports in 2025, dedicated to the support, development, and education of youth.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri emphasized the importance of the state's continued attention to the intellectual development of young people, creating conditions for unlocking their creative potential, supporting folk crafts, and assisting them in choosing careers. She noted that a series of incentives for young people had been implemented throughout 2025, despite global challenges.
Zulfikor Gulahmadzoda, Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Sports, announced that the "Valor and Youth" award was established to recognize the achievements and courage of young people in combat, for their patriotism, and for strengthening national identity. At the ceremony, 16 outstanding young people received this award for their outstanding achievements in service to society and the state, as well as their courage and dedication.
Entrepreneur Mahmud Amonzoda, director of Sarmanzil LLC, also presented cash prizes to the families of soldiers and border guards who faithfully served their country, as well as to the families of young patriots who heroically died defending the country.
In addition, 20 of the best representatives of literature, art, architecture, journalism, programming, engineering, technology, and innovation were awarded prizes by the Committee for Youth and Sports.
During the ceremony, awards were also given to the winners in the following categories: "Best Structure in the Sphere of Work with Youth in 2025," "Best Employee of an Information and Propaganda Institution Working with Youth," "Best Employee in the Sphere of Work with Youth," "Recipient of a State Grant from a Public Organization Working with Youth on Patriotism in 2025," and "Best Club under the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports in 2025."
