A new airline, Shohin Airlines, has been registered in Tajikistan. It is currently based at Dushanbe International Airport, where the company's headquarters and office are located, announced Khabibullo Nazarzoda, head of the Civil Aviation Agency, at a press conference.
According to him, the airline was registered several months ago and is currently in negotiations to acquire aircraft.
"The company has helicopters currently stationed at Dushanbe Airport. An L-410 aircraft will also join Shokhin Airlines' fleet in August. Furthermore, Shokhin Airlines and the Civil Aviation Agency are in talks with Airbus regarding the acquisition of aircraft," Nazarzoda noted.
