On January 26, 2026, the Minister of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, Soleh Kholmahmadzoda, received the General Director of the Qatari company "Jusur," engineer Abdulhodi Bakhit Barkan, who arrived in Tajikistan to conduct an employment exhibition for Tajik citizens in Qatar. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, Minister Soleh Kholmahmadzoda informed the guest about diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Qatar, the beginning of new stages of cooperation, and the creation of a solid political and legal framework following the official visits of the heads of state of both countries. She expressed satisfaction with the results of work under the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Qatar on the Regulation of the Workforce in Qatar, signed on February 3, 2019, which regulates the training and deployment of labor from Tajikistan to Qatar.
It was also noted that cooperation between the State Institution "Agency for the Provision of Employment Abroad" and the company "Jusur" from Qatar began on May 15, 2023, and the recruitment of citizens for labor activities is carried out through the electronic platform www.tawzeef.qa.


The parties expressed satisfaction with the results of interviews between Qatari companies and Tajik nationals, which took place on January 25 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Both sides expressed hope that the upcoming interviews from January 25 to 27 will involve a larger number of citizens and that the selected candidates will be provided with suitable jobs.
According to reports, 800 Tajik citizens participated in interviews on January 25. Of these, 186 were hired, and positions for 230 will be determined. The parties expressed hope that during the three-day event, more citizens will be able to pass the interviews and secure suitable, high-paying jobs in the State of Qatar.
At the end of the meeting, Tajikistan's Minister of Labor, Migration, and Employment, Soleh Kholmahmadzoda, emphasized the importance of the guests' visit in providing Tajik job seekers with jobs and expressed her respect for them.
