Dayu New Energy Limited plans to build solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of 500 MW in the Qubodiyon and Jayhun districts of Khatlon Region. The project will contribute to the development of green energy and attract investment to the region.
As reported by the press center of the Executive Authority of the Khatlon Region, this issue was discussed during a meeting between the Chairman of the Khatlon Region, Davlatali Said, and the head of the company "Dayu New Energy Limited", David Liu.
During the meeting, it was noted that the Khatlon region is actively developing cooperation with companies from the People's Republic of China and has significant potential for implementing investment projects in various sectors of the economy.



David Liu stated that Dayu New Energy Limited has been operating in the renewable energy sector since 2018, constructing and operating solar and wind power plants. He added that the company is currently implementing wind energy projects in Georgia and Kazakhstan.
In turn, Davlatali Said emphasized that expanding cooperation with Chinese companies is a priority area of Khatlon Region's foreign economic activity. He noted interest in developing a long-term partnership aimed at effectively leveraging the region's potential, attracting investment, and implementing modern technologies.
At the end of the meeting, the Khatlon regional chairman supported the proposal to build solar and wind power plants in the region.
