More than 500 pine saplings were planted in Dushanbe as part of the state greening program.

On January 24, a tree planting event was held on Bobojon Gafurov Street in Dushanbe's Sino district to implement the "State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040" and as part of the National Tree Planting Movement, which aims to improve the environment and green the surrounding area. This was reported by the press service of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by Sheralizoda Bakhodur Akhmadjon, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the Executive Authority of Dushanbe, and development partners from the Asian Development Bank.

Over 500 coniferous pine seedlings were planted during the greening event. The planting material was provided by the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and was planted in compliance with all necessary agricultural requirements.
