By the end of 2025, Tajikistan's electricity production volume will reach 24 billion kilowatt-hours, a 7 percent increase from 2024. This was announced at an extended meeting of the Government of the Republic chaired by President Emomali Rahmon.
Thirteen state investment projects totaling 14.9 billion somoni have been implemented in the energy sector. These measures are aimed at achieving the country's energy independence.
Emomali Rahmon gave instructions to reduce electricity losses, implement a billing system, and accelerate the construction of alternative energy sources, including solar power plants.
