A training seminar was held in the Rudaki district, attended by farmers and agricultural scientists. The seminar focused on "Ensuring Sustainable Development of Various Agricultural Sectors in the Context of Climate Change and Measures to Reduce Climate Change in Agricultural Production." The Rudaki District Executive Authority reported this to NIAT Khovar.
The seminar focused on the implementation of the instructions and directives outlined in the Address by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Majlisi Oli. It was noted that specific measures are being taken to ensure the sustainable development of the country's agricultural sectors, increase production volumes, improve product quality, and ensure food security. Particular attention is being paid to crop and livestock production. Consistent implementation of these measures will contribute to the sustainable development of the agricultural sector and provide a solid foundation for the country's food security.
During the seminar, scientists and specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, and the Tajik Agrarian University conducted training sessions on eight key topics for more than 100 managers and specialists from farms in the Rudaki district.
The training sessions addressed issues related to adapting agricultural production to climate change, efficient use of water and land resources, implementing modern technologies, increasing productivity, and reducing the impact of negative climate factors.
Such trainings are essential for enhancing the knowledge and skills of specialists, implementing scientific expertise in production, and ensuring sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
