An additional meeting of the expert group to approve the draft Plan of Key Actions for the Implementation of the Conceptual Framework for Cooperation among Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in the Field of Labor Standards for 2026–2030 was held on January 20 at the Commonwealth's headquarters, according to the press service of the Organization's Executive Committee.
Representatives from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee took part in the meeting.
The experts reviewed the comments received from states on the draft Plan and supported the document, taking into account the amendments. It was decided to submit the approved draft to the CIS Economic Council for consideration in accordance with the established procedure.
As a reminder, the draft Plan of Key Actions for the Implementation of the Conceptual Framework for Cooperation in the Field of Labor Standards for 2026–2030 was developed by the Belarusian National Technical University, which is the primary organization for training, retraining, and advanced training of personnel in the field of labor standards.
The document aims to further develop cooperation between Commonwealth countries in the area of labor organization and standards. The implementation of measures to exchange information, materials, and experience will enable the development of common approaches to the efficient use of labor potential, optimization of labor costs, and increased labor productivity.
