Today, January 14, Khatlon Region Governor Davlatali Said participated in the potato sowing campaign at the Qurbonali farm in the village of Bustonkol, Kushoniyon District. This was reported by the governor's press service.
During the visit, the regional governor inspected the progress of fieldwork, soil preparation, and potato planting conditions, commending the farmers' efforts. Particular attention was paid to the proper and efficient use of land, adherence to agricultural practices, and the selection of high-quality seeds, which contribute to increased yields and improved product quality.






Davlatali Said gave specific instructions and recommendations to industry officials and agricultural management regarding the timely implementation of agricultural measures, provision of land with irrigation water, the use of high-yielding seeds, and the implementation of modern farming methods.
It was emphasized that the development of agriculture, in particular the increase in potato production, is one of the key factors in ensuring the country's food security and saturating the consumer market.




The potato sowing season has begun in Khatlon Region, and next season, the crop is planned to be planted on an area of 8,000 hectares. This measure is aimed at increasing production volumes, creating new jobs, and improving living standards.
The executive authorities of the Khatlon region will continue to take necessary measures to develop agriculture, support farms, and fully utilize the region's agricultural potential.
