On January 8, 2026, Somon Air took part in a meeting of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to discuss the results of its activities for 2025.
In 2025, the airline carried 1,091,921 passengers, an 8.6% increase compared to the previous period. During the reporting year, Somon Air operated 3,744 flights, a 13% increase compared to the previous year. This includes 348 domestic flights.
The airline's plans for 2026 were also presented during the meeting. These include expanding its route network and increasing flight frequency. Two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft are planned to be added to the fleet. Flight safety, service improvement, and personnel development remain priorities.
