By a government decree, Akbar Nasimzoda has been relieved of his post as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs due to retirement. By another government decree, Bakhodur Kholikzoda, previously head of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kulyab group of districts, has been appointed in his place.
As reported by the press service of the head of state, on January 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with personnel nominated for leadership positions in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.



In accordance with the agreement with the President, personnel changes took place in the leadership of the central office of the Ministry, its departments and divisions in a number of cities and districts.
In particular, the changes affected the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs apparatus, the heads of the Internal Security Department, the Department for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking, the special forces unit, the regional unit of the Khatlon Internal Affairs Department in the Kulyab group of districts, the national coordinator for police reform, the head of the national Interpol bureau, the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs departments in Kulyab, Jomi, Farkhor, Khovaling, Temurmalik, J. Balkhi, Vahdat, Rudaki, Fayzabad, Khujand, J. Rasulov, Buston, Zafarabad, Asht, Isfara, B. Gafurov, Roshtkalya, as well as in the capital's Ismoili Somoni and Shokhmansur districts.





In addition, personnel changes affected the heads of departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' transport department on the Dushanbe airport line and on the railway line.
