Construction work at the 110/35 kilovolt Kozidekh substation in the Ishkashim district continues, according to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Construction work on the substation was officially launched on June 26, 2025, by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon.


According to the source, 70 percent of the construction work has been completed to date. The remaining work is proceeding in strict accordance with the approved plan. The substation is scheduled to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2026.
The construction of the substation is particularly important for strengthening the region's energy infrastructure. The project will contribute to increased reliability and stability of power supply in the Ishkashim district.
In addition, the project will reduce technical losses of electricity and improve the quality of power supply to both the population and socio-economic institutions of the region.
