At the Republican Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery of Tajikistan, together with specialists from Iran and China, a series of operations to correct heart rhythm disorders were performed.
According to the center's doctors, arrhythmia can manifest in people of any age as a rapid heartbeat—from 160 to 240 beats per minute. To restore normal heart rhythm during surgical procedures, patients undergo procedures lasting from one to three hours. These procedures are performed without incisions or general anesthesia, and the heart rate is restored to 60–90 beats per minute.
The Republican Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery emphasized that energy drink consumption is one of the main causes of arrhythmia. Doctors warn that ignoring arrhythmia symptoms puts the patient's life at risk in 90% of cases.
As part of a program to exchange experience with foreign specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disorders, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan is taking steps to provide domestic doctors with modern equipment and improve their qualifications.
According to the center's management, the participation of specialists from Iran and China in surgical procedures is aimed at joint training, enhancing professional skills, and expanding the knowledge of Tajik doctors. This creates the perfect conditions for performing the most complex and rare cardiovascular surgeries.
One of the patients who underwent surgery to correct heart problems was a 27-year-old man. Doctors emphasized that modern methods allow for effective and safe normalization of heart rhythm without causing trauma to the patient.
The creation of favorable conditions, access to modern medical equipment, and the training of domestic specialists make it possible to perform even the most complex cardiac and vascular surgeries in Tajikistan.
