Cases of illegal trafficking of pyrotechnics were identified in Gissar and B. Gafurov districts.

During operational search operations, police detained a 20-year-old resident of Gissar on suspicion of illegal trafficking of pyrotechnics, the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

Twenty-three boxes of fireworks labeled "Training" and "Happy New Year!" were found and confiscated from the suspect. A forensic expert concluded that the confiscated materials were in good condition, totaling 10,350 pieces.

Also, as a result of operational-search activities, police officers detained two 17-year-old minors from the B. Gafurov district on suspicion of illegal trafficking of pyrotechnics.

Seventy-one boxes of pyrotechnics labeled "Training X 201" were found and seized from the suspects. A forensic expert concluded that the seized materials were in working order, totaling 31,950 units.
