On December 17, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, AD Ports Group (ADX: ADPORTS), a leading global operator of integrated trade, industrial, and logistics solutions, announced the signing of a shareholder agreement with AVESTO Group, one of Tajikistan's largest private industrial companies, to establish a new joint venture. The joint venture will provide integrated logistics and freight forwarding services throughout Tajikistan.

According to the shareholders' agreement, the joint venture will initially operate as an asset-light freight forwarder with exclusive rights to consolidate and manage all logistics and transportation operations of AVESTO Group subsidiaries, as well as provide services to third parties in the market.

AVESTO Group is one of the key private companies in Tajikistan, managing more than 30 large enterprises and manufacturing plants in various sectors of the economy and maintaining partnerships with eight leading international joint ventures.

The joint venture will be created with AD Ports Group holding a 51% stake and AVESTO Group holding a 49% stake. The partnership will be developed in stages to ensure long-term growth and operational expansion.

AD Ports Group Regional CEO Abdulaziz Zayed Al Shamsi noted that this partnership marks a significant milestone in the group's ongoing expansion in Central Asia. He stated that Tajikistan's growing industrial base and strategic location create significant opportunities for developing advanced logistics solutions supporting regional trade flows. Collaboration with AVESTO Group will enable the Group to provide world-class logistics services, strengthening the Middle Corridor and cementing AD Ports Group's position as a global player in trade flows.

AVESTO Group CEO Muhammad Mirzo emphasized the company's commitment to connecting Tajikistan's products with global markets. The partnership with AD Ports Group, he said, will transform the country's logistics infrastructure. "Together, we're not just transporting cargo; we're creating a modern strategic gateway that connects Central Asia to global markets and opens up new economic opportunities for the entire region," he noted.

The deal is seen as a strategic development of AD Ports Group's efforts to expand its presence in the Middle Corridor and strengthen east-west trade connectivity. The partnership strengthens the group's presence in Central Asia, providing access to key overland trade networks connecting Tajikistan with regional markets before crossing the Caspian Sea and continuing through Azerbaijan and Georgia to Europe.
