On December 9 of this year, a regular meeting of the Chemical Safety Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the building of the Committee for Environmental Protection, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Ziyozoda Sulaymon Rizoi. This was reported by the Committee's press service.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Committee, deputies of the relevant ministries and departments, industry experts and members of the Commission.


On the first and fourth agenda items, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee Shukurzoda Isfandiyor presented a report on the approval of the list of chemical substances and chemical agents permitted and prohibited for use in the Republic of Tajikistan. A report was also heard from Ulugov U., Director of the State Institution "National Center for the Implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants."

The Chairman of the Chemical Safety Commission, Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizoi, gave specific instructions on the implementation of a unified digital system for registering chemical substances and chemical agents, as well as on other pressing issues.
Following the meeting, relevant decisions were made aimed at ensuring effective control over the use of chemical substances and chemical agents in the Republic of Tajikistan.
