On November 28, 2025, the 32nd meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI) was held in Moscow at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in a mixed format, the CIS Executive Committee press service reported.
The meeting was opened and chaired by Stanislav Vladimirovich Zharkov, Chairman of the International Scientific and Technical Council and Deputy Director of the Department for the Development of Technological Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the CIS Executive Committee and the basic organization of the CIS member states for the interstate exchange of scientific and technical information, the All-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS).
During the meeting, current issues concerning the state of affairs in the sphere of interstate exchange of scientific and technical information were discussed, including information from members of the International Scientific and Technical Information Commission on the state of affairs in the CIS member states – members of the International Scientific and Technical Information Commission on the state of affairs in the sphere of scientific and technical information during the reporting period, the activities of the basic organization VINITI RAS during the reporting period were approved, and proposals for promising areas of activity in the sphere of scientific and technical information were considered and approved.
Timur Tilloevich Mansurov, Head of the Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Innovation Department of the Department of Economic Cooperation, informed members of the International Scientific and Technical Cooperation Council (ICSTI) about the progress of the review of the draft new version of the Concept for the Creation of a CIS Patent and Innovation Bank, approved by the Decision of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS on May 31, 2013.
The main objective of the Concept is to create favorable conditions for accelerating the interstate exchange of scientific and technical information, implementing the results of scientific and technical activities, and increasing the effectiveness of information support for innovative activities of the CIS member states.
The members of the ICSSTI also approved the ICSSTI Work Plan for 2026.
