Two people died in road accidents in Tajikistan on November 25-26, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
On November 25, 2025, at approximately 6:25 p.m., the driver of a two-wheeled scooter, Salimov Rakhmonali Rakhmatulloevich, born in 1977, a resident of the Dusti district, while driving a scooter in the rural area of Dehkanabad, unexpectedly hit a dog, and the scooter overturned.
As a result, the driver and his wife, Zikamokh Asadulloyevna Salimova, born in 1981, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Unfortunately, on November 26, 2025, at approximately 6:30 AM, the injured woman died in the hospital.
On November 26, 2025, at approximately 08:40, the driver of an Opel Zafira, Ehson Ganiev, born in 1998, a resident of the city of Konibodom, while driving through the village of Makhram, drove into the oncoming lane of the road and collided with a Daewoo Labo driven by Ilyos Barotovich Rakhimov, born in 1990, a resident of the city of Konibodom.
As a result, the car veered onto the left shoulder of the road and struck a pedestrian, Sodik Azamovich Kholmatov, born in 1957, a local resident. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
Internal affairs agencies conduct investigations into road accidents and establish the causes and circumstances of the incidents.
