At the start of the Asian Junior Chess Championship under 18, currently underway in Bangkok, Thailand, young International Master Jaloliddin Ilkhomi from Tajikistan demonstrated confident play and took third place in the rapid chess tournament. The competition featured 50 participants from 25 countries, according to the Tajikistan Chess Federation.
