Sughd Region Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda inspected the construction of several large industrial facilities in the Bobojon Gafurov District and the city of Buston, according to the regional administration's press service.
During a visit to Farovon LLC, regional leaders were informed that the company's administration, following the instructions of Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, is expanding its scope of operations. Measures are planned to increase production volumes, improve product quality, and create new jobs.
According to experts, the new oil refinery's production capacity will be up to 200 tons of oil per day. The facility will be able to meet up to 50% of domestic demand for this product.
Domestic entrepreneurs and manufacturers strive to make a significant contribution to the development of the country's industry and increase the production of priority products.
Fatir Agro LLC is building a new flour mill with a production capacity of up to 1,000 tons of flour per day. The equipment being installed is Turkish-made, some of the most modern in the country. A warehouse with a capacity of 40,000 tons has been built for storing the product. Once the mill is operational, up to 250 permanent jobs will be created.
In the city of Buston, Anko Invest LLC is constructing modern poultry slaughter, processing, packaging, and storage facilities on a three-hectare site. The facility is receiving equipment from China, Switzerland, and Russia. Management noted that all stages of production will be implemented here—from chicken rearing to fattening and processing of poultry meat. The launch of the industrial complex is expected to create up to 200 jobs.
Construction is also underway in the city of Buston to produce feed for livestock, poultry, and fish. Once operational, the facility is expected to produce up to 14 types of compound feed.
Sughd Region Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda supported the entrepreneurs' initiatives and called them a role model. He instructed those responsible to ensure the full implementation of the projects and the timely launch of industrial enterprises.
