In the capital of Tajikistan, police officers have solved two cases of theft from stores, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic reported.
On November 14, 2025, at approximately 4:00 PM, the Shohmansur District Department of Internal Affairs (ODVD-1) in Dushanbe received a report from a 54-year-old local resident that an unknown individual had stolen 5,200 somoni from the cash register of the Olami Kitob store located at 4 Dehlavi Street and fled the scene. Investigative actions revealed that the crime was committed by a 15-year-old minor, a resident of Dushanbe.
Additionally, a 38-year-old local resident filed a report with the I. Somoni District Department of Internal Affairs in Dushanbe, alleging that on November 10, 2025, an unknown individual stole 7,500 somoni and a CCTV camera memory card from his school supply store located on Shark Street and then fled. Investigative actions revealed that the crime was committed by a 24-year-old resident of the capital with a prior criminal record.
An investigation is underway into both incidents.
