Traffic restrictions on the Dushanbe-Chanok highway, imposed Tuesday morning, have been completely lifted, according to IRS, the company that maintains the highway.
Previously, traffic was temporarily restricted: from 4:00 AM for trucks and from 5:00 AM for cars. The restrictions were in effect on the section of road from Dehmoy to Shakhristan.
The IRS clarified that the measures were related to the President of Tajikistan's working visit to the Sughd region. Following the completion of the relevant measures, traffic on the highway was fully restored.
