The Football Federation of Tajikistan has submitted an application to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to receive gold-level membership under the AFC Grassroots Charter Gold program, the FTF press service reported .
As part of the evaluation process, members of the AFC Grassroots Panel, Chokey Nima (Bhutan) and Rahaf Krum (Syria), are on an inspection visit to Dushanbe. The main goal of the visit is to comprehensively verify and confirm the compliance of the Football Federation of Tajikistan's programs, structure, and activities with the requirements for gold membership of the AFC Grassroots Charter.
Today, members of the AFC panel held a working meeting with the vice presidents of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, Alisher Urunov and Sayvali Doniyorzoda, and the director of the Children's and Youth Football League of Tajikistan, Abdullo Sokiyev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas for the development of grassroots football in Tajikistan, including programs for children and young people, school and regional tournaments, women's football, and other initiatives to popularize and develop football in the country.
