On October 29, Tajikistan's Minister of Justice, Muzaffar Ashuriyon, participated in the 12th consultation of justice ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, which was held online and chaired by the Russian Ministry of Justice. This was reported by the Tajik Ministry of Justice.
The event was attended by the Ministers of Justice of the Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Uzbekistan, Belarus, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Russian Federation, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as the Deputy Secretary-General of the SCO.
During the consultation, the parties discussed the activities of the justice ministries of the organization's member states, priority areas of cooperation among SCO states in the field of law and justice, and issues of digitalization of justice agencies.
Following the meeting, it was announced that the next consultation of justice ministers of the SCO member states will be held in the Republic of Tajikistan.
