On October 22–23, 2025, a delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Farrukh Yusufzoda, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in the 29th Sharjah Global Investment Conference, dedicated to the theme "Transforming Our World: Investing for a Sustainable and Resilient Future." This was reported by the Embassy of Tajikistan in the United Arab Emirates.
The head of the Tajik delegation spoke at the thematic session "World Leaders' Perspectives: Rethinking Investment Promotion and Facilitation Strategies in the Context of Global Economic Change" and emphasized Tajikistan's strong commitment to strengthening a sustainable and resilient economy in line with the Investment Promotion Strategy 2040. He noted the importance of transitioning to a green economy, attracting green investment, modernizing the industrial sector, developing the country's digital infrastructure, and effectively utilizing its vast hydropower potential.
On the sidelines of the conference, bilateral meetings were held between the Tajik delegation and representatives of authorized bodies of the United Arab Emirates. During the meetings, the parties discussed prospects for deepening economic cooperation, investment projects, and opportunities for a mutually beneficial partnership between Tajikistan and the UAE.
