On October 27, 2025, a regular meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member States to the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth was held in Minsk under the chairmanship of Bakhtovar Safarzoda, Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Belarus. This was reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Belarus.
During the meeting, the results of the meetings of the Council of Heads of Government, the Council of Foreign Ministers, and the Council of Heads of State of the CIS were summarized, and tasks for the implementation of adopted documents and reached agreements were identified.
The Permanent Representatives took note of the progress of the Roadmap for the implementation of initiatives put forward by the heads of delegations at the meetings of the Council of Heads of State, the Council of Heads of Government, and the Council of Foreign Ministers, as well as information on the Action Plan for 2023–2025 for the implementation of the Memorandum on Deepening Cooperation between the CIS Executive Committee and the Eurasian Economic Commission. Cooperation in the political, humanitarian, and social spheres was discussed.
The Council of Permanent Representatives approved the candidacy of Igor Petrishenko, First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS, for the position of Head of the Observer Mission for the early elections of deputies of the Zhogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled for November 30, 2025.
The meeting also heard information on prospects for cooperation between the CIS and African integration associations, and discussed ways to expand cooperation in various areas.
