Tajikistan and China have decided to strengthen bilateral cooperation in meteorology. This topic was discussed during a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, according to the Hydrometeorology Agency of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Abdullo Kurbonzoda, Director of the Hydrometeorology Agency of Tajikistan, met with Zuqiang Zhang, Deputy Director of the China Meteorological Administration, who oversees international cooperation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to deepen cooperation between the two countries in meteorology.
The focus was on the exchange of advanced technologies and experience, as well as the integration of innovative artificial intelligence-based solutions into weather forecasting systems.
In addition, the parties discussed issues of exchanging scientific information, conducting joint research, and training highly qualified specialists in the field of meteorology.
This cooperation aims to improve the accuracy of weather forecasts, develop meteorological science, and strengthen scientific and technical ties between Tajikistan and China.
