The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan successfully completed the certification of professional securities market participants for the first time. The event was held at the request of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Fayziddin Sattor, and under the leadership of First Deputy Minister Majidi Yusuf Khairullo. This was reported by the Agency's press service.
The certification has become an important initiative aimed at integrating the national market with international standards, improving the qualifications of specialists, and developing the capital market. The event was organized in accordance with Part 3 of Article 37 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Securities Market," Article 12 of the Regulation of the Ministry of Finance, approved by Government Resolution No. 187 of April 2, 2015, and Order No. 43 of the Minister of Finance of May 1, 2025.
As part of financial infrastructure reforms, Tajikistan is gradually adapting its standards to the international requirements of ICMA (International Capital Market Association) and IOSCO (International Organization of Securities Commissions).
The main goal of the certification was to improve the quality of service and operational efficiency of market participants, as well as to confirm the level of professional training of employees. The key principles of the examination were objectivity, transparency, confidentiality, and the integrity of the assessment process. Those who successfully passed the certification received certificates confirming their professional competencies, thus strengthening trust in the national capital market.
In her opening remarks, Director of the Securities and Specialized Registration Agency Nigina Abdurakhmonzoda emphasized:
"Certification is not only a control tool but also a way to ensure trust. We strive to create a truly transparent, reliable, and integrated market, adapting its development and oversight to best international practices."
Representatives of the country's leading financial and investment organizations participated in the first stage of the certification, including Alif Bank CJSC, Bank Eskhata CJSC, Freedom Bank Tajikistan LLC, Samar Invest TAKH LLC, Central Asian Investments LLC, Broker Exchange LLC, Vladelets Registra LLC, First Capital LLC, Registrar Plus LLC, the Deposit Insurance Fund of Tajikistan, and others. Participants included directors, department heads, economists, and leading specialists from the organizations.
Experts note that certification of professional securities market participants is more than just an exam, but a bridge connecting the domestic market with global investment flows. The higher the level of competence of specialists, the greater the trust they gain from international partners, opening up new opportunities for the development of the Tajik capital market and attracting foreign investment.
