On October 16, with the participation of the Chairman of the Sughd Region, Rajab Akhmadzoda, work began on paving the road on Sebzori Street in the city of Khujand.
The road is 1 kilometer long and 16-18 meters wide. The paving is being financed by the Sughd Regional Executive Authority, according to the regional administration's press service.
According to statistics, over 600 kilometers of roads in the cities and districts of the Sughd region were fully paved in the first nine months of this year. Paving and road infrastructure renovation work continues.
At the same time, asphalt paving began on one of the streets in the Temurmalik district. Residents of the Temurmalik microdistrict expressed gratitude for the ongoing attention from the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Sughd Region Executive Authority, noting such initiatives as proof of their commitment to improving the quality of life.
