On October 14, 2025, in Dushanbe, within the framework of the International Investment Forum "Dushanbe Invest – 2025" , the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, Daler Juma, held a working meeting with representatives of the UK Department of Energy.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of Tajik-British cooperation in the energy sector. Particular attention was paid to the development of renewable energy sources, including solar and wind energy projects, as well as measures to reduce carbon emissions and attract investment in green projects.
Minister Daler Juma noted the importance of strengthening international partnerships and jointly implementing initiatives aimed at modernizing Tajikistan's energy sector, increasing its sustainability and energy efficiency. The parties emphasized the need to exchange experiences and implement advanced technologies that contribute to the development of green energy and the achievement of the country's environmental goals.
Following the meeting, the participants agreed to continue cooperation and discuss specific investment projects and programs aimed at improving energy security and sustainable development in Tajikistan.
