Officers from the capital's ecology and tourism department detained Inom Bokiev , a Mercedes with license plate number 1010NG01, for violating environmental and sanitary regulations. The violation was reported by a citizen, along with a video recording of trash being thrown from the car onto the roadway, according to the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs.
For this incident , an administrative report was filed against the driver under Article 232 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan , and a fine was imposed. The agency noted that such actions violate sanitary norms and city improvement regulations and negatively impact the environment.
The Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on all citizens to respect the environment, strictly adhere to urban planning regulations, and contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the capital.
The agency emphasized that video surveillance and citizen complaints are effective tools for identifying environmental violators, and police will continue to ensure cleanliness and order on the city's streets.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reminded citizens of possible administrative measures that may be taken against them for violating waste management regulations and polluting urban areas, including fines and other sanctions stipulated by the current legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
