The second expert forum "Russia – Central Asia: A Joint Development Agenda" will be held on October 11 in Dushanbe, according to the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event will be attended by heads and representatives of think tanks, research institutes, and relevant ministries from Central Asian countries and the Russian Federation. Representatives of the diplomatic corps and experts in international relations, economics, and the environment are also expected to attend.
As the organizers clarified, the forum aims to deepen expert interaction and develop proposals for strengthening regional cooperation in the face of modern global challenges.
During plenary and thematic sessions, participants will discuss a wide range of issues, including climate change and its impact on the region's sustainable development, energy and food security, the development of transport and logistics links, and the strengthening of trade and economic partnerships.
Particular attention will be paid to issues of adapting the region's economies to global instability, transforming global markets, and developing new formats of interaction within the framework of integration initiatives.
The forum was organized by the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan jointly with Russian partners and with the support of relevant government agencies.
The forum is expected to result in the development of practical recommendations and proposals aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between Russia and the countries of Central Asia.
