Employees of the Tajikistan Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CECS) freed a young child trapped in a locked apartment in the capital's Sino district. This was reported by the agency's press service.
The incident occurred on the evening of September 26 at 10:54 PM. Asror Boboev, a resident of the Sino district, contacted the Emergency Situations Committee duty station to report that his apartment door had slammed shut, leaving a child inside.
Emergency Situations Department personnel immediately responded to the scene. Rescuers, using specialized equipment, forced open the door and freed the child at 11:30 PM. His life and health are not in danger.
The agency noted that in the past week alone, rescuers have provided assistance to citizens in emergency situations several times, extracting people from cars, homes, wells, and canals.
The Emergency Situations Committee reminds citizens of the need to strictly adhere to safety regulations and pay special attention to their loved ones. "Human life is the most precious commodity, and rescuers' daily work is aimed at preserving it," the committee emphasized.
